Elanco and Lely hosted a Vet CPD day on farm near Gisburn, run by vet Mike Steele who provides services for Co-op farms, Processors, Retailers and Animal Health Companies. With an increasing number of farms engaging with robotic technologies our vets covered key themes across the automated systems including effect of robotic management systems on cow behaviour, health and production, data services, settings and analysis that robotic systems provide. Following the farm visit, lunch and discussion took place back at Dalehead’s farm building meeting room.
